Ok so things have not gone quite to plan and I am now back in Germany, not even 2 whole weeks away...but I am looking for a last minute holiday hopefully somewhere warmer as it's quite rainy.
Managed to squeeze a day's shopping in so a couple of new goodies to play with...

Yay hubby picking up my new car today so I can travel with my 4 1/2 year old daughter to the UK(Sheffiled) for the Summer Holidays this weekend. He's staying due to work and our very old german shephard will need doggy sitting. Got lots planned and holidays away with Nana (both of them), looking forward to seeing my sister and maybe sloping off with her for a little Spa pamper weekend...and lots and lots of Shopping...

I should come back nice and refreshed and full of inspirations to be able to get my crafting and blog going again.

MAGICAL CRAFTS FORTNIGHTLY CHALLENGE

Today the First Challange has been set over at Magical Crafts Fortnightly Challenge .The Challenge is to create a Christmas Card & Ornament but there is more to the challenge you have a colour scheme too, you have to use Gold, Green & Red.

Gifts Boxes

I have made a couple of little gift boxes one for a swap on Magical Crafts Forum, opp's not quite finished... and one for some christmas goodies.

I have just folded the boxes out of 12" x 12" heavyier weight papers, and used stickles glue for the sparkle, added a few blooms, ribbon and some card candy.

Yoo Hoo, hi everyone.

Yes I'm still here, only just, had one of those really odd months, where everything is out of sorts, after having the cellar flooding and other glitches,I have not even managed to do any crafting whatsoever.
I'm trying to get myself back upto date after having to shoot off to the UK for family things, thought it would not take me too long, and then hubby finds out today he has to go into hospital Monday for about a week, so he's a little worried. And then he will be out of action for a few weeks.
I'm sure I can find him some cutting or something he could help out with though, hehehe

I think I am on auto pilot, and my blog is woundering what is happening, with so many entires on one month, hehehe.

I'm trying to get as much uploaded before I go home later this week for my nanas funeral.

OK so I'm Back...

What a trip home, spent an absolute fortune, loads of crafty stash and fitted in a Craft Show in Doncaster too.
Got back here and found there was nowhere to put anything, so I have spent the last week clearing my daughters clothes out to make room for all the new ones, mine too, cleared a box of toys too, and sent the off to the local Homeless Single mothers charity.

I have now got time to sit down and get some crafting done, well when I can find everything.

Going Away

I have slowly got everything sorted to take my 2 1/2 year old daughter and myself back to the UK to mums for a break, we are going for about amonth. I have to laugh everytime I come to do the packing, as I put something she takes it out and then when you look at the contents of the cases, you make sure they have everything, there clothes, toys books and whats left, enough room for you to put in your Pokey tool and a pair of knickers...............

Looks like there will be a few shopping trips then, get loads of new goodies

Sister Birthday Card

I decided not to do a traditional Birthday card for my sister this year. I made her a large tag 5" x 5"which I have attached a little fold out stand to the back, and then made a sleeve cover to put it in. I used English paper company Sietsa papers, an image form Pink Petticoat, and some crystal gems, brads and flowers. Hope she likes it.

This is my page for the Page Map comp we are running on the forum, we have had lots of lovely entires this month. The only rule was Pink was the main colour, I have done it on a 12x12 layout using a combination of Brenda Pinnick papers.

This Birthday Card is one of my first of 2008. For a wounderful friend I have made on a small forum of lovely ladies, Crafting Corner. I used some mountboard flowers, coloured them, used clear embossing power and added glitter to the smaller one. English paper company siesta papers and peeloffs. Also DCWV ribbon
